Pledge/Preorder at:

We're excited to announce the PledgeMusic campaign for our our forthcoming album Gentle Humor! Join us as we put the final touches on an album several years in the making! We need your support!

We're offering some tasty premiums including: a bonus album of b-sides & demos, intimate performances, sexy merch, custom posters and more!

Poster Gentle Humor is a handsome mix of indie-rock, pop, and soul with bits of spookiness. Recorded by our pal Matt Girard (Ruby Rose Fox, Parks) at a bunch of studios including Woolly Mammoth Sound, Dave Minehan's (The Replacements, Neighborhoods) Studio.

Single Release Partee

To celebrate our upcoming album we're releasing a brand new single! "Minnie Moon" is the first outright love song I've written in around 10 years. It's the end to a self-inflicted ban on love songs. I got married to a lovely lady – a love song was inevitable!

Stream "Minnie Moon" here.

Dump Trump,

I get a little nutty about Halloween… As a youth I spent countless hours with friends making basement haunted houses and camcorder horror movies. Nowadays, my 'fever' is still going strong with Halloween shows like this one. Call it prolonged adolescents...I think it's just plain fun.

Break out your spooky-pants for an evening of campy costumes, cotton spider webs and smoke machine atmosphere! Not to mention tunes from 3 of Boston's finest bands!

We will be breaking out a special set of our “spooky” jams, maybe a cover, and definitely some questionable costumes.

PLUS - it’s my birthday + Heather & Anastasia’s too so, they’re probably be cake. AND Polar Seltzer is sponsoring this thing so; there will be free samples. You like cake and seltzer.

Check it out!

“Houdini Hands” features footage from “horror movies” my friends and I made in middle school. The combination of an 8mm camcorder and our fascination and slasher movies brought about some truly exquisite cinema… Live shots and editing by Travis Gray at 106 Studios. Marvel at my sweet bmx bike! Watch Dan getting stabbed with a giant, dull butcher knife! Listen to those sweet prepubescent voices crack!!

Musically, “Houdini Hands” is a spooky little number full of creepy organs, Frankenstein beats and stabbing guitar lines. Thematically, it’s about indecision and the mysterious magic of love and commitment. The track was recorded with Matt Girard (Parks, Will Dailey) in Nashua, NH. It's a sneak peek at our debut full-length due out in the coming year!

We had some good yucks putting this one together! We hope you enjoy it and have a happy Halloween!

Sinnet - Boston, MA.
Tasty indie-pop nuggets of elementary escapism swirled together with spooky bits of fuzz, soul and atmosphere.
Featuring members of The Fatal Flaw (Mr. T Experience, Pansy Division), Karate and Soft Pyramids.

Initially formed by Aaron Spransy as a laptop bedroom project during 'less-employed times' following a move from Milwaukee to Boston. The project quickly evolved into a living, breathing band. The name 'Sinnet' comes from the license plate Aaron's late mother Mary Spransy had on several Toyota Camrys. It was a birthday gift, she loved playing tennis.

Some of Sinnet's momentous occasions include: Boston Phoenix 'MP3 of the Week', playing in a shoe store (Converse's Rubber Tracks), a East Coast / Midwest tour, participating in the 35th Annual Boston Emission's Rock 'n' Roll Rumble and sponsoring a mini-golf hole at a library.

We've shared the stage with Tim Kasher, Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin, Barr Brothers, Torquil Campbell (Broken Social Scene), Revolver and more.

For fans of Spoon, Squeeze, Elliott Smith and more!
