Hey Kiddies!
Never mind the April showers. Here in Sinnet Land, the sun is shining and great things are afoot! Aaron is playing a SOLO SHOW at Middlesex Lounge next Weds.
The set is sure include ALL of the "hits", psychedelic freak-outs and plenty of questionable covers.
On Tuesday, April 30th all of the boys will be on hand for a splendid show with our buds The Susan Constant at TT the Bears.
Lastly, keep your ears pealed for our brand pants-down-spanking-new single:
'Year of the Whale' It's just days away from being "dropped"!

The folks at Allston Pudding wrote a real nice review of this show.
AP is definitely a cut about the rest, they cover some interesting things and aren't afraid to tell it like it is.
Check it out here:

We're playing at Great Scott at the end of the month, Friday Nov 30th at the Pill to be exact. If you aren't privy to the Pill it's basically a sweet dance party with a band and dj's.
We plan on kickin' things off real proper like - with some dancing, or at least some fancy wiggling....
Bassist Search Continues...
Now that all our Halloween shenanigans have concluded our search for a PERMANENT BASSIST starts up again. Interested parties contact us at bass@sinnetsongs.com

The unmistakable chill and color of Fall is in the air and us gents of Sinnet are busy stirring up a delicious sonic stew to warm you up!
First, on Saturday Rocktober 13th Sinnet will be joined by two killer bands at PA's Lounge: Falcon Arrow , the bass and drum duo from Minneapolis, are back armed with crazy psych loops mashed with intercepted radio broadcast madness. Way BIG. As if that's not enough, we've finally lined up a show with the genre defying J/Q, another dynamic duo (bass/vocals, drum/synth) of spazz pop deliciousness. EPIC.
For Halloween we decided to honor the lovely Minneapolis boys: The Replacements not once but twice. We'll be performing a selection of their best non-hits and conjuring up their infamous live performances at The Midway Cafe in JP on Friday, October 26th with Tallahassee.
Then again on Saturday, October 27th at What We Talk About in Allston withget this!Guided By Voices! How awesome is that? Okay, so it's not the real GBV, but you probably won't even notice. We go on super early, at 7:00pm, so you can trick or treat, watch us play, and still shake it up at that costume ball afterwards! What can we say, we aim to please.
In other news, we've continued work on recording under the deft hands of Matt Girard.. You should hear the fat tone on the drums! We hope to have a new single out for you before winter hits, when (not to get too far ahead of ourselves) we will make our debut at Great Scott. We're gonna spank the tight jeans off the hip kid at the Pill. Save the date kiddos, you won't wanna miss this one: Friday November 30th.

Okay, so it's a little sad to close the window on summer but, Sinnet
has a brilliant fall taking shape and we thought we'd have little show
and tell. So, put away them Speedos and bust out them sweaters!
This upcoming Sunday we're opening a show with some Milwaukee buds Jaill, who just released there second record on SubPop Records. This is our first show back since Summer Tour so we're extra eager to get out the jam. Then on Sept 22nd we'll make our first trip to Providence for a show with Lists the avant guarde project of Aaron's high school homie David Penn.
Lastly, September marks our first recording sessions as a whole band! We'll be laying down a handfull of songs with Mr. Matt Girard in his Arlington Studio. Keep an eye out for the fruits of our labor soon.
9/06/12
Our first tour is complete. We had a super splendid time, met some great folks and saw some old friends and family.
Highlights include: a bad ass homecoming show at Cactus Club in Milwaukee, swimming at the bottom of a huge waterfall in Ithaca, NY and rock n' roll induced swamp ass at every show.
We'd like to sincerely thanks all of the folks that put us up, came out to shows, helped us book the tour, put food in our bellies and shared music with.
A especially big thank you to Bob Gaszak for literally flying from the other side of the country to play bass with us!
THANK YOU!
